Online Store


Emmy Clothing Company Oy (Business ID 2693438-9) (hereinafter referred to as “Emmy”) sells products to adult private individuals in Finland and EU countries. Used products are sold on commission, where the product owner is another private individual or company, but the buyer makes the purchase from Emmy. Emmy prices the products and ships them from its own warehouse.

We apply the margin taxation procedure (VAT Act § 79a) for sales of used goods. As a result, the VAT on these goods is 0%. However, VAT of 24% is applied to other products, items sold by business sellers, and shipping costs.

We reserve the right to change prices and delivery fees.

Ordering


Products are ordered through the online store by adding them to the shopping cart and paying at checkout. All customer data is handled confidentially. The contact details requested when placing an order will only be used for delivering the order or resolving any issues related to it. By placing an order in the online store, you are expected to have read and accepted the terms of delivery in force at the time.

Payment


Payment transactions in the online store are processed by an external payment service provider. No registration or additional fees are required to use the service. Your payment is considered complete only after we have reviewed your order. A confirmation email will be sent once the order is successfully placed.

Payment data transfer and transactions are SSL protected, ensuring that third parties cannot access your information.

Payment Methods


Payment Service Providers

The payment services are provided by Paytrail Plc (2122839-7), Shopify Payments/Stripe, PayPal, and Maksekeskus in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. The payment service provider appears as the payee on your bank statement or credit card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. In case of complaints, please contact Emmy’s customer service.

Bank Payments

All Finnish bank payment buttons are available, using either the banks’ eBanking interfaces or open banking APIs. You can pay using Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-Bank, and Ålandsbanken. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on your bank statement and forwards your payment to Emmy. You will be directed from the online store to your bank to complete the payment securely.

Credit Card Payments

You can pay with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, and American Express cards. The online store uses Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode, and American Express SafeKey for authentication.

Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on your credit card bill and forwards your payment to Emmy. Card payments are processed securely through a protected payment form, and card details are not stored in the online store’s systems.

Mobile Payment Methods

MobilePay, Siirto, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay buttons are available.

MobilePay and Siirto are in-app services allowing bank transfer or card payments upon acceptance within the app.

Apple Pay is an Apple device service that allows payment from a linked card.

Paytrail offers invoicing and installment services via OP and Walley.

Emmy Gift Card:
You can buy gift cards from Emmy's online store for yourself or as a gift, and as a seller, you can take the sales revenues as Emmy gift cards.

Order and Payment Confirmation


Once your order is successful, you will receive a confirmation email. Make sure your email address is correct when placing the order. Please check your order details in the confirmation. If you do not receive the confirmation or notice any errors, contact Emmy’s customer service.

Delivery Method and Costs


You can choose pickup from a delivery service point, home delivery, or pickup from Emmy’s office.

Orders over €99 are delivered free of charge to Finland and Estonia. Delivery fees may vary during campaigns.

NOTE: We recommend downloading the Budbee app for easier tracking and managing of your delivery. Budbee collects orders daily from Emmy.

Pickup from Emmy's Lohja Office: Free of charge.

International Shipping: Rates are country-specific and shown at checkout. Free delivery on orders over €99 does not apply to international orders, except those to Estonia.

NOTE: Shipping fees are not refunded for partial returns. If the value of the remaining items after a return falls below €99, the original shipping fee will be deducted from the refund. If the entire order is returned, the shipping fee will also be refunded.

Delivery Time


Average processing time is 2–5 business days. During campaigns, it may take longer. You will be notified once your order is processed and dispatched or ready for pickup.

If picking up from the Lohja office, collect your order within 7 business days. Unclaimed orders are not considered returns. If not collected, the order is cancelled, and the purchase amount is refunded minus a €19 fee.

Return Policy


You have the right to return all or part of your order within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law. This also applies to used items, which must be returned in their original condition with the product tag attached and without being used, washed, or modified.

Return Fees


A return fee of €6.90 applies to returns from Finland and Estonia. If you choose to receive the refund as an Emmy gift card, the return fee is waived (except for returns from countries other than Estonia).

Shipping fees are not refunded for partial returns. If, after the return, the value of the remaining order falls below €99, the shipping fee will be deducted from the refund. If the whole order is returned, the shipping fee is refunded.

Return Refunds


Refunds are issued primarily to the original payment method. You may choose to receive an Emmy gift card instead.

Gift card purchases are refunded back to the gift card.

Credit card, mobile payment, and bank transfer purchases are refunded after processing (1–3 business days for funds to appear).

For invoice payments via Walley or OP, the refund is applied to the outstanding invoice. Pay the invoice by the due date even if the refund has not yet been applied.

Return Processing


Returns should be sent via the same carrier that delivered the order. Instructions are provided in the return guide.

Returns from Other EU Countries


Orders delivered to Estonia can be returned via Omniva. Returns from other EU countries must be returned via GLS. Emmy's customer service will schedule a pickup after you complete the return form.

Returns are processed within 1–5 business days after receipt.

Unclaimed Orders


Failure to collect an order is not considered a cancellation or return. Emmy charges a €19 fee for unclaimed orders without prior notice. The transaction is considered cancelled, and the order amount is refunded minus this fee.

Problem Situations


Check your order within 14 days of receipt.

If the product is missing, damaged during delivery, or incorrect, contact Emmy’s customer service within 14 days. If the package or product was damaged in transit, file a claim with the delivery company as well.

If the item is defective or incorrect, you may return it free of charge. Fill out the return form, specify it is a complaint, and include the reason. Return the item promptly in its original condition.
