Emmy Clothing Company Oy, registered in Finland (business ID 2693438-9) (hereinafter “Emmy”) sells products to private individuals of legal age within the EU. The products are primarily pre-owned (secondhand). Secondhand products are sold as commission trade where the owner of the product is another private individual, but the buyer trades with Emmy. Emmy sets the prices for the products and ships them from its own warehouse.
In the sale of secondhand products, we follow the process of marginal taxation referred to in the Value Added Tax Act (AVL 79 a §). Consequently, value added tax for these goods is 0%. Any other products, products sold by corporate sellers and shipping costs include a 24% VAT.
We reserve the right to change the prices and shipping costs at any time.
The online store payment shall be processed by a third-party payment service. Using the service does not require registration or additional fees. Your payment will only be recorded as completed after we have checked your order. A confirmation message will be sent to your e-mail after a successful order.
The data and money transfers related to the payment transaction are SSL encrypted, so no third party will be able to see your personal information.

PayPal is a third-party payment service that acts like a credit card payment. You can transfer money to your PayPal account in advance or allow PayPal to charge your card.

Order and payment confirmation
After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail. Confirmation messages require you to submit a valid e-mail address when placing an order.
You may choose delivery by parcel or pickup from Emmy's warehouse (domestic orders only). Parcel delivery cost in Finland and Estonia is 5.90 €. Orders worth more than 89 € shall be shipped free of charge within Finland and more than 59 € within Estonia. Shipping costs may be temporarily different during campaigns.
Overseas shipping costs will be displayed at checkout and are country-specific. Overseas deliveries shall be shipped by Posti (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) or GLS (other EU countries). View overseas shipping costs here.
N.B.! Shipping costs shall not be refunded on partial return. If a part of the order is returned so that the sum of the order after the return is less than 89 € or the minimum sum for free shipping at the time the order was placed, shipping costs shall be deducted from the refund. If the entire order is returned, shipping costs shall also be refunded to the buyer.
If your chosen method of delivery is pickup from an Emmy place of business (currently Lohja, Finland), you will not be charged for shipping. Always contact our customer service to agree a pickup time separately after placing an order.
Our average delivery time in Finland and Estonia is generally 2-5 business days. During campaigns or other other times of peaking demand, delivery time may be longer. If you have chosen pickup as your method of delivery, you will receive a text message when your order is ready for pickup. Overseas delivery times vary by country.
We shall not be responsible for delays caused by a force majeure or for indirect damages caused by delays. Notifications about exceptional delivery times shall be posted on the online store.
Failure to collect the ordered goods shall not be considered as cancellation of the sale. Emmy will charge a separate fee of € 19 for orders not picked up without notice of cancellation or return. The transaction will then be considered canceled and Emmy will refund the customer the amount of the purchases less the above-mentioned separate payment of € 19, unless the customer separately agrees with Emmy's customer service to resend the shipment. Additional costs caused by an undelivered shipment will be charged to the customer before the shipment can be re-delivered.
Based on the consumer protection laws of Finland and the EU, you have a right to return your order in full or in part within 14 days of receiving the order. The return right also applies to second-hand products, but the product must be returned in a saleable condition, i.e. in the same condition as at the time of purchase.

We charge delivery costs 5.90 € per return shipment in Finland and Estonia. For other countries, we charge delivery costs equal to the order’s shipping cost. The purpose of the fee is to cover a part of the expenses incurred from the shipping and handling of returned products.
Applicable in Finland and Estonia only, if only a part of the order is returned and the total sum of the order after the return is less than 89 € (or the minimum sum for free shipping at the time the order was placed), we will also deduct shipping costs (5.90 €) from the refund. If you have already paid for shipping when the order was placed, you will not be charged for shipping again.
Returns are processed within 1–5 business days from us receiving them. Refunds for orders paid by credit card or PayPal shall be made to you immediately after processing. Refunds for purchases paid by online bank payments shall be made every two weeks. If the purchase was paid by gift card, the sum shall be refunded primarily to the balance of the gift card used for making the purchase.
If you like, you may also ask to receive your refund as an Emmy gift card. The gift card will be sent to your e-mail immediately after the return has been processed.

If a product is missing, has been damaged during shipping or otherwise does not match your order, you must report the error to the Emmy Customer Service or email@example.com within 14 days. If the parcel has been damaged in the mail (or during another form of shipping), you must immediately file a complaint with postal services (or the applicable transportation company).
