On Saturday, 28.5.2016, it's Siivouspäivä again, when anyone can sell their own extra and good-condition items. You can set up a sales spot in a park, by the street, or in your own yard.
Siivouspäivä is also a true treasure day for flea market fans, as the variety of sellers and items for sale offers the chance for amazing finds.
Emmy is the fast lane for Siivouspäivä
Siivouspäivä is a fun way to get rid of old, good-condition items, meet people, and spend your Saturday by your own sales stand. But what if you don't have the time or desire for that?
Emmy offers an easy and quick way to take part in Siivouspäivä: bring your items for sale to Emmy's stand, and we will sell them for you in Emmy's online store! You can bring us good-condition branded clothing, accessories, shoes, and bags for women, men, and children.
Emmy's staff will receive items for sale in Helsinki at three official Siivouspäivä recycling points from 10 am to 4 pm. The points are located at Ruttopuisto in Punavuori, Hesperia Park in Töölö, and in front of Kallio High School in Kallio. In addition to Emmy, the recycling points are also served by Delete, Siivouspäivä's own clothing and rag collection, and the Recycling Center.
Pack the items you want to sell in a box or bag and include an Emmy clothing dispatch note with each package. Clothing dispatch notes are also available at Emmy's stands. When you bring your items to the collection point, you save on the handling and logistics costs related to postal shipments (€6.90/package).
We take care of everything for you; all you need to do is bring the items to us. We transfer the sales proceeds to your account twice a month.
