FINLAND'S WIDEST SELECTION OF SECOND HAND BRANDED CLOTHING

Myyntituottotaulukko uudistuu 1.1.2025

The sales revenue table will be renewed on 1 January 2025

We regularly receive feedback about the complexity of our sales revenue table, so we decided to take the bull by the horns and make the table simpler.

The sales profit table will be renewed on 1.1.2025

Thank you, Emmy customers, for your feedback! We appreciate the feedback, constructive development ideas, and shared experiences we receive from you. They are important to us as we continue to improve Emmy’s service to make it even smoother. Thank you for being part of creating a domestic circular economy service!

We regularly receive feedback that our sales profit table is difficult to understand, so we decided to take the bull by the horns and make the table simpler.

The renewed sales profit table will take effect on 1.1.2025 and will automatically apply to all products for sale and published for sale in the Emmy Clothing Company online store and physical stores. You do not need to do anything; your sales on Emmy will continue as normal. The first profits according to the new table will be paid to sellers on 28.2.2025.

Sellers will continue to receive different sales profit percentages from the portions of the product’s sales price.

How do the current and new sales profit tables differ?

  1. The number of sales price portions and profit levels will decrease from five to three.
  2. The lowest price portion that accrues sales profit will now have a higher profit percentage.
  3. For all products over €50, you will now receive 70% of the portion exceeding the minimum level for the maximum profit.

How is the new sales profit table interpreted?

Sales profit is paid for all products whose sales price exceeds €7. You will receive 50% sales profit from the portion of the sales price exceeding €7. If the product is sold for more than €50, your share is 70% of the portion exceeding €50.

  • For the portion of the sold product’s price up to €7, the seller is paid €0.
  • For the portion of the sold product’s price between €7–50, the seller is paid 50%.
  • For the portion of the sold product’s price exceeding €50, the seller is paid 70%.
  • A publication fee of €1 is charged for each product published for sale (€0.50 for children's clothing).

Example 1:

The product is sold on Emmy for €30. The seller is paid 50% of the portion between €7 and €50, minus the €1 publication fee: 50% x €23 - €1 = €10.50.

The seller is paid €10.50.

Example 2:

The product is sold on Emmy for €70. The seller is paid 50% of the portion between €7 and €50, and 70% of the portion exceeding €50, minus the €1 publication fee: 50% x €43 + 70% x €20 - €1 = €34.50.

The seller is paid €34.50.

Our new sales profit model is highly competitive compared to others, and Emmy sellers will continue to receive the best sales profit for their quality branded products.

Sales service updates in 2024

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to summarize the improvements we have made to serve Emmy sellers even better. This year we have:

Deepened our cooperation with the S Group:

We expanded our sales channels from the Tampere store to also include Helsinki and Turku. Now your products can be available not only in the online store but also in brick-and-mortar stores, reaching even more buyers.

Launched the seller information service:

The service brings together the season’s most popular products, most sought-after brands, and current benefits – you’ll get important tips and support for successful sales.

Renewed the sales terms:

We will refund the €1 publication fee for unsold products that the seller does not reclaim.

Emmy turns 10 – let’s celebrate together!

In January 2025, we will celebrate Emmy’s milestone anniversary. This is a special milestone for us, and in honor of the anniversary year, we will gradually introduce new improvements to our service to make buying and selling second hand even smoother.

Thank you for being part of Emmy’s story and helping make second hand a real alternative to new. Let’s make the coming year unforgettable together!
