Emmy's new CEO

Sienna Kruk (M.Sc. Econ.) started as the CEO of Emmy on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Timo Huhtamäki will move into the role of owner-entrepreneur and will continue to be closely involved with Emmy and support the management team.

Sienna rises to CEO from her previous role as Chief Operating Officer at Emmy.

“In a short time, Sienna has demonstrated passion and the ability to develop Emmy’s business to meet the needs of a changing world, and with her entrepreneurial background, she has exactly the agile and customer-centric skills that Emmy needs to steer the company towards growth,” explains Chairman of the Board Heikki Ahdekivi.

“For the past seven years, I have been gathering tools to fulfill my personal mission: to make the circular economy an easy and inspiring solution. Of these tools, the importance of service design will be especially highlighted in Emmy’s next phase of service development. By focusing particularly on this, our goal is to make Emmy’s service so easy that effort will not be a barrier to the growth of the circular economy—and above all, our business. I am very excited to take on this role and am happy that my collaboration with Timppa will continue,” says the new CEO, Sienna Kruk.
